CRISPR is the revolutionary new tool used to edit the genome of any living thing. Changes in genes cause changes in the traits they control—e.g., nose shape, risk for specific disease, potentially even intellectual abilities.
CRISPR Ahead™ Board Game (the Game) is now under development. In early rounds (year = present), players assume roles of stakeholders who are tasked with delivering specific CRISPR-edited products to users; to succeed, they must solve (CRISPR-related) puzzles, promote their products, overcome obstacles, and recover from setbacks. In later rounds (year ~2100), players think up missions and related ‘What if…’ scenarios, then grapple with the consequences of pursuing those missions. See more game features here.
